James Logan “Jim” Walter, 67, formerly of Altoona, died Tuesday afternoon at Inglis House, Philadelphia. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Cecil C. and Annetta May (Stewart) Walter. Surviving is a sister, Margaret A. Justh of Ardmore. He was a former member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Altoona, and a graduate of Altoona Area High School. He enjoyed painting and drawing. There will be no public viewing. A private funeral service will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Altoona, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona.
