Samuel J. Spinazzola Jr.

Samuel J. Spinazzola Jr., 67, Altoona, passed away Thursday at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Samuel J. Sr. and Ann Marie (Cherullo) Spinazzola.

Surviving are a sister, Beverly (Ed) Dunkle of Vancouver, Wash.; a niece, Robin; and two nephews: Mark and Andrew.

Samuel was a 1969 graduate of Altoona Area High School. He worked for 

Saf-T-Bak and Value City Furniture.

He was a member of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, Altoona, and he enjoyed cars, baseball and football, and he was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Santella Funeral Home, Altoona, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Deacon Thomas McFee officiating. Committal will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
