Kenneth William Rider Sr.

Dec. 11, 1950 – June 1, 2020          

Kenneth William Rider Sr., 69, Altoona, died Monday at his home.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late William and Luella (Way) Rider. On Aug. 3, 1985, he married Debbie Lukens in Altoona at the Mardorf United Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife of 35 years, surviving are a son, Kenneth W. Rider Jr. of Altoona; a daughter, Kelli R. (Rider) Focht and husband, Rusty, of Altoona; a stepdaughter, Deanna (Beach) Heaton and husband, Dan, in Georgia; a brother, Steve Rider of Altoona; three granddaughters: Kylie, Peyton and Kelsey Focht; and three grandsons: Christian and Austin Heaton and RJ Focht.

Kenneth retired as an auto mechanic. He was a member of Mardorf United Methodist Church and loved cars and cooking. 

He served in the U.S. Army.

Friends will be received from 4 until the 6 p.m. funeral service Friday, June 5, 2020, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, Pastor Jim Balzano officiating.
