He was born in Altoona, son of the late William and Winifred (Ord) Patterson.
Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Sandy (Smay) Patterson; six children: Aaron Patterson and wife, Jandora, and their children: Halliday, Olivia and Kevin; Kelly Patterson and wife, Michele, and their children: William and Kaitlyn; Shannon (Mosholder) Lucas and husband, Harold B., and their children: Ashley Krug and her husband, Joshua and Samantha Lucas; Jennifer (Mosholder) Biss and husband, Cass, and her son, Shane Mosholder, and his girlfriend, Torrian Raco; Terry Mosholder and fiancee, Heather, and his children: Guy Mosholder, Caleb, Hendrickson and Caden Hendrickson; and Heidi (Mosholder) Golden and boyfriend, Timmy; and a brother, Patrick Patterson.
Kevin was very skilled with his hands. He worked as a carpenter and truck driver. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
