Anita M. Wicker

Oct. 17, 1951 – June 9, 2019

Anita M. Wicker, 67, Williamsburg, passed away unexpectedly Sunday at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Alphonse Pacifico and Angeline Ciambotti. On April 18, 1988, she married Edward L. Wicker in Altoona.

Surviving are her husband of Williamsburg; two daughters: Amie J. (Robert) Stewart and Anessa Lynn, and their father, Allan Lynn; three grandchildren: Ava Stewart, Tallulah Stewart and Haven Driver; three brothers: Sonny, Tony and Rocky Pacifico; several beloved aunts and uncles; her large extended loving family; and her pup, Skippy.

Anita was a career nurse with a gift for making people laugh and feel at ease. Her beautiful singing voice graced many events. 

She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, and will always be remembered as someone who lived her life with exuberance.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing. A celebration of life and memorial service will be held in July. Arrangements are by Anthony P. Scaglione Funeral Home, 1908 Seventh Ave., Altoona.

Anita was great, full of energy and life, always with a smile on her face and a sense of humor.  A very big loss.. First met her with her father Alfonse when he tried to get me to play for BG where he was the head coach at the time.

Anita and I sort of grew up together when her family came back from Florida.  She was with me the day my dad passed away.  She came from a wonderful family.  RIP

Her voice was just like her, full of love, fun and strength. I’ll miss her.
