Nancy L. Marlett, 64, Altoona, passed away Thursday at UPMC Altoona after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of Robert and Edna (Friley) Nagle. She married Michael A. Marlett on Dec. 5, 1970, in Hollidaysburg.

Surviving are her husband, Michael, of Altoona; her mother; three daughters: Crystal M. Douglas, Renee L. Marlett and Misty A. Mock; five grandchildren: Brandon, Mya, Jenna, Marissa and Jacob; three sisters: Carol Muzzey, Gloria Marlett and Barbara Mills; a brother, Robert Nagle; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; and a sister, Mary Sue Olivio.

Nancy was a 1969 graduate of Altoona High School. She was a dietary assistant at Altoona Hospital for 35 years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

All services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions in memory of Nancy may be made to American Cancer Society, Blair Unit, 1004 N. Juniata St., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.

Arrangements are by The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.

Dear, sweet Nancy.  I have so often thought of you.  I have great memories from grade school, Jr. High and High School----how you loved to dance-----you taught me how to "crack" gum, and were always a great friend.  Rest in Peace.
