Ralph C. Bream Jr., 64, Altoona, passed away early Saturday morning at his home.

He was born in Gettysburg, son of the late Ralph C. Bream Sr. and Pauline S. (Herring) Bream. On June 19, 1969, he married Sharon L. Hemcher in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Altoona.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years; his mother of Gettysburg; two sons: Gregory R. and wife, Trish, of Pueblo, Colo., and Jonathan S. and wife, Lisa, of Ebensburg; a granddaughter, Amanda A. Bream of Pueblo, Colo.; a sister, Linda Curwood in Canada; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ralph was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve. He retired from Norfolk Southern as a machinist. He attended Wehnwood United Methodist Church, Altoona, and was a member of the Bavarian Club and the Blair County Tea Party. He enjoyed wood working, musky fishing, camping, riding his bike and his John Deere tractor, going on cruises with his family and spending time with his granddaughter.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016, Pastor Evie Madison officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
