Mike Tremmel, 65, Buckhorn, died Thursday at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Chal and Vicky (Lottero) Tremmel. He married Charlotte Gates on Nov. 24, 1973, in Altoona. Surviving are his wife; two children: Carrie Fagan of Dysart and Mike Jr. of Buckhorn; a grandchild; and three siblings: Maurine Harper in Georgia, Bill of Duncansville and Denise Tremmel of Altoona. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or service. Arrangements are by Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville.
