Harry and I were friends since we were two years old, and lived just three houses away from each other on 58th Street in Eldorado. He was my first love, and until about the age of eight, I thought I would just grow up and marry Harry. He was fun and funny, which was great for me becasue I was sort of a serious kid. We stayed in touch over the years.  I'm very sad.

I met Harry in my first summer in Altoona,  in 1966.   I don't remember if it was in Alto Cadets,  band practice or at a Methodist Youth Fellowship (MYF) meeting.   Both of us shared the bond of being preacher's kids,  so we were required to attend those MYF mettings.  lol     Harry's quick acceptance of me into the class of '69 was greatly appreciated by this country boy who was finally living in a town bigger than 300.   i got the chance to talk briefly with him at the 40th reunion and was that he remembered me after 40 years.  he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  May you be with God,  Harry and may He bring comfort to your family and friends.
