Sherman Newberry, 53, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Altoona, died Jan. 3, 2005, in Fort Lauderdale. He was born Jan. 5, 1951, in Newark, J.J., son of the late Robert S. and Rosemary (Liske) Newberry. Surviving are a son, Matthew of Chino Hills, Calif.; two brothers: a twin, William of Altoona and Dennis in Florida.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.
Arrangements are by Daniel R. Myers Funeral Home.
