Sally Jo "Maw" (Lozinski) Halvorsen, 64, Leechburg, passed away Saturday at Presbyterian Hospital UPMC, Pittsburgh.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Frank G. and Audrey M. (Wierick) Lozinski.
Surviving are a son, Christopher A. Halvorsen (Teena) of Morrisdale; a daughter, Audrey J. Halvorsen (Pat) of Leechburg; five grandchildren: Kyla, Aliva, Alexis, Drake and Vanessa; two brothers: Steve and Tim Lozinski, both of Altoona; a sister, Terri Stiver (Rick) of North Carolina; and a special friend, Christina Lamb of Leechburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Halvorsen, in 1992.
Sally Jo was a homemaker who enjoyed doing arts and crafts and spending time with her family.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or ceremony.
