I just read this. I've been so out of touch, I did not know. I went to Kiwanis Camp with Grover (We called him "J.R." then) when I was 10 years old and he was my first African American friend. He had these great songs he used to sing, like "Rock-a my Soul in the Bosom of Abraham." He was a great friend and I've missed him for years.
