Date of Death:  Monday, February 22nd, 2016

Stephen Robert Kuhn, 64, of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ entered into eternal rest on February 22, 2016. 

He was the beloved husband of Joanne (Kovach) Kuhn, brotherly cousin to Jim Roncoroni of Altoona, PA, and beloved uncle to Pamela Taylor of Manchester, PA and Jane Stevens of Maggie Valley, NC. Also left to cherish his memory are 13 grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Dorothy (Roncoroni) Kuhn of Altoona, PA and his sister Dorothy L. Westwood of Altoona, PA. 

Steve Kuhn was born in 1951 and grew up in Altoona, PA. He graduated from Altoona High School in 1969. He also attended Penn State University, Altoona campus and CUNY Law School, Queens, NY. He became a believer in Jesus Christ in 1989 and was baptized that year.

During his lifetime Steve worked for many years as a musician. He also was a MSCE and was currently employed as the manager of the computer department of an Englewood, NJ company. 

His hobbies included obtaining a recreational pilot license. He enjoyed training dogs and competed in the Obedience Ring with his rescue doberman, Naboo Von Sussex, also known as "Boo". Steve was active for many years in doberman rescue where he met his wife, Joanne. 

Steve Kuhn had many friends in the Vintage Military Vehicle hobby. He would often be seen driving his 1969 Deuce-and-a-Half in veterans’ parades and activities or carrying members of the Taejon Chapter of the Korean War Veterans Association of NJ. He also supported the U.S.S. Ling SS297 and the Historic Submarine Museum located in Hackensack, NJ. 

All are invited to a Celebration of Life planned for March 20, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Maywood American Legion, 135 E. Passaic St., Maywood, NJ. Donations can be made in his memory to the New Jersey's Mission of Honor for Cremains of American Veterans. (njsmissionofhonor.org)

Spent alot of fun times with Steve especially during Keith times. Sorry he never made to the last reunion,but blessed to see he had become a believer.   R.I.P. my old friend until that last great reunion and well hopefully we will look our best.
