Patrick M. Jones, 62, Lakemont, passed away Wednesday at home.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Norman and Mona Jean (Russo) Jones. He married Karen Ann Riley on Oct. 25, 2003. Surviving are his wife; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Zonfrilli; two grandchildren: Jasmine and Alana; a brother, Mark of Kittanning and fiancee Jeanne Englert; a niece, Maria; a nephew, Christopher; and other nieces, nephews and cousins.He was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Hale.

Patrick was a graduate of Altoona Area High School and Penn State University with a degree in metallurgy. He also attended an X-ray technician course through Kodak. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a sergeant during the Vietnam War and worked for a Naval Air Rework Facility X-raying helicopter rotor blades. He worked for Homeland Security as a TSA security agent and also worked for Skills of Central Pennsylvania Inc. Patrick attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

He enjoyed NASCAR, the Pittsburgh Steelers and North Carolina Tar Heels basketball. He also enjoyed working at Skills with Paul, Bonnie and his special friend, Mike Butler.

Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. today, Jan. 3, 2014, at Santella Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
