Donna J. McDonald, 61, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at Altoona Regional.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of Ruth (Powell) Hite and the late H. William Hite.
Surviving are her mother; two daughters: Christa and Kelley McDonald, both of Altoona; two sons: Todd McDonald of Altoona and Nicholas Moffitt of Pittsburgh; two grandsons: Andrew and Jacob Cover; and three siblings: William Hite of Alum Bank, Beth (Jeff) Forlina of Altoona and Scott Hite of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Ronald Moffitt; and a sister, Amy Robuck.
Donna was a graduate of Altoona Area High School and St. Francis Nursing School. She retired as a nursing supervisor at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Santella Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, by Pastor George Sanders. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
