Three persons were killed when thrown from their convertible which struck a utility pole along Route 764, just south of Canan Station, about 4 a.m. today. Robert C. Henry, 22, of 639 E. Atlantic Ave. was a passenger in the car, which was en route home from a dance in Portage when the crash occurred, officials said.
Mr. Henry was born November 12, 1949, in Altoona, a son of William C. and Catherine (Fisher) Henry.
Surviving are his parents, six brothers and sisters, Mrs. Linda Hetrick of Juniata, Carol Jean, Doris Ann, Donna May, Sharon K. and Richard Allen, at home, and grandmothers Mrs. Frank Hall of Juniata and Mrs. Minnie Fisher of Juniata.
Mr. Henry was employed by Vincent Horwitz Co. He was a member of the East End Bible Church.
Friends will be received in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday.
