Beverly JoAnn (Heffner) Shaw died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 26, 1994, at Altoona Hospital.  She was born Dec. 1, 1951, in Altoona, the daughter of Chester B.  and Helen A. (Bidorrek) Heffner.  She married Terry L. Shaw.

 

Mrs. Shaw was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.  She was employed as a licensed practical nurse at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Center of Altoona and Home Nursing Agency.  Mrs. Shaw was a volunteer trainee at the Domestic Abuse Center.  She was a 1969 graduate of Altoona Area High School.

 

Surviving are her former husband, a son, Jeffrey D. of Altoona; a daughter, Stephanie M. of Altoona; and her mother of Altoona.  Mrs. Shaw was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Ruth H. Taylor.

  

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Gilden Barton Funeral Home.

My dearest and closest friend...I miss you alot
thanks for all the fun times. The dances we went to together...even the square dance you talked me into going to. The fun times at the beach and just walking around East End together....The times we shared about our boyfriends and the Special blind date we went on together...It is all precious memories to me....

Bev, went to our 40th reunion...Wish you were there w/me to dance with...we could have really danced up a storm..
Classmates miss you, BUT NOT AS MUCH AS ME !!
I LOVE YOU...I spent some time w/ Mom while I was in Altoona and got to love on Stephanie also. You would be very proud...she is just beautiful. And the pictures I saw of Jeffery WOW what a good looking man! You did good Sis...I know they are proud of you !!
