Janet Louise Gerber Box Harstad, 52, passed away on November 4, 2003 in Lake Los Angeles, California. She was born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania on May 3, 1951, the daughter of the late Daniel Louis Gerber and Esther Edith Pawley. Surviving are her husband, Ronald George Harstad, sons Andrew and Norman Louis Box, daughter Anita Louise Box, and the following brothers and sisters: Daniel C., Phillip C., Christine G. Cloud, Karen L., and Patricia E. Polheber.

She married Andrew Norman Box in 1977 and he preceded her in death in 1991. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her stepmother Mary C. (Rice) Gerber. Janet was a 1969 graduate of Altoona Area High School. She served in the United States Air Force.
