Jeffrey B. Drenning, 57, Altoona, died Tuesday.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Norman "Bus" and Edith "Jonnie" (Johnson) Drenning.

Surviving are three daughters: Brooke Drenning Sell (Bill), Rachael Drenning and Megan Drenning, all of Altoona; a grandson, Kade; and a brother, J.W. Drenning of Altoona.

He was vice president of Drenning Leasing Co.

Mr. Drenning was a 1969 graduate of Altoona Area High School.

He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time with his grandson.

Mr. Drenning was a member of the Heidelberg Country Club, where he served on the board of directors.

Friends will be received from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona (www.stevensmortuary.com). A funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2009, at Stevens Memorial Chapel by Pastor Denise Arpino. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
