Three persons were killed when their car, traveling at an excessive rate of speed, crashed into a guard rail along Fourth Avenue, Juniata, near the A&P Store at 1 a.m. today.  The victims were listed by Blair County Deputy Coroner A. Paul Vandrew as Terry L. Welch, 18, the driver; Robert W. St. Clair, 18; and Anthony B. Cronmiller, 23.

 

Anthony Bernard Cronmiller, Jr. was born in Pittsburgh on May 8, 1951, son of Anthony Sr. and Mathilde (Mastle) Cronmiller.  He married Linda Clinger on Sept. 30, 1972.

 

Surviving are his wife, two sons, William Joseph and Anthony Michael, at home; his parents, of Altoona; four sisters and a brother, Mrs. Catherine Mann of Pittsburgh and Mathilde, Philip, Elizabeth and Caroline, at home.

 

Mr. Cronmiller had been employed as a yard man by Altoona Pipe & Steel Supply Co. for the past two weeks.  He was a member of the Cathedral Parish.

 

Friends will be received in the Jones Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
