She was born in Huntingdon, daughter of the late Allen and Edith Beaver.
Surviving are her spouse of almost 49 years, William P. “Bill” Bishop; a son, William P. “Paul” Bishop; two grandchildren; and a sister, JoAlana Kuhn.
Peggy was a 1969 graduate of Altoona Area High School. She was a proud Disney World employee and retired as a reservation sales agent after 25 years of service.
A funeral service was held Thursday, March 14, 2019, at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home, Winter Garden, Fla. Interment was at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
