William C. Bartow, 43, Box 532, Canan Station RD 2, died early Sunday afternoon, June 30, 1996, at the Altoona Hospital.

He was born Aug. 29, 1952, in Altoona, the son of Herman C. and Audrey E. (Biddle) Bartow.  He married Elizabeth Anne Farrell on Jan. 29, 1977, in Altoona.

He was employed as a boilermaker for Conrail.  He was a 1969 graduate of Altoona Area High School.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Arlelle; his parents of Altoona; three brothers: Bruce of Altoona, Timothy of Ephrata and Jonathan of Harrisburg; two sisters: Connie Montieth of Shillington and Cynthia Sambuco of Baltimore; and a grandmother; Cora Biddle of Altoona.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Daniel R. Myers Funeral Home.  Interment at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.  There will be no public viewing.
